BEFORE YOU ENROL

What to Expect

Each Certificate and Diploma course is divided into modules. All modules contain:

Student Support

As a student, you will receive a study guide, which contains information and activities that develop the skills and knowledge pertaining to each module. Participants in online modules have access to their study guide online. The study guide contains the following:

  • Activities

The activities included in each study guide give you the opportunity to put your learning into practice, by investigating policies and procedures in your workplace and discussing them with colleagues. To enhance your learning, you can discuss your responses with other participants in the course and the online-tutor via e-Communities.

  • Assessment task

For each module you must complete an assessment task that requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge features in that module.

  • Resources

Each module is linked to a list of resources that you may find useful in completing specific activities or to follow up in areas that interest you. These include book references, journals, articles, websites and other information.
